An updated version of the Town’s GIS website is now available that takes advantage of the latest software tools and database structure. The public version of the new site is available at: https://gise3.glastonbury-ct.gov/Html5/index.html?viewer=PublicGISViewer

The user interface for the new GIS website is generally very similar to the previous version however some minor changes are summarized below and described in more detail in this What’s New document.
- Aerial photos are now also available from a convenient button at the bottom left corner of the map that reads “Basemap”.This allows the user to select different aerial photos or the default town mapping as the background.See the What’s New link above if you have trouble finding the new button.
- Layers have been reorganized to make them easier to find and a layer search tool is also highlighted in the What’s New link above.
- Our most detailed address data (address points) are now displayed by default on the GIS website which helps users locate specific buildings when there are multiple building addresses located on a single parcel.
- An updated User’s Guide has been created that better reflects the current version of our GIS website with many helpful tips.

Several new interactive mapping applications are now also available from the GIS Maps and Property Data link on the Town Homepage which will help users locate specific information related to Voting Locations, Historic Districts, FEMA Flood Zones, and Historic Aerial photos. The public is encouraged to try out these new tools.
