Son Identified as Suspect in House Fire With Glastonbury Links
State police on Wednesday released the identities of a suspect and those killed in a house fire linked to a Glastonbury car fire.
GLASTONBURY, CT — State police on Wednesday released the identities of the two people killed in a Griswold house fire linked to a Glastonbury car fire.
Meanwhile the son has been identified as a suspect, state police said.
They are a husband and wife — Janet Lindquist, 61 and Kenneth Lindquist, 56, of 70 Kenwood Estates in Griswold, state police said.

The son has been identified as Matthew Lindquist and is a suspect, police said.
The investigation remains active as detectives continue to follow leads and evidence, state police said.

On Dec. 20 at approximately 5:15 a.m., troopers from Troop E in Montville and the Griswold Volunteer Fire Department responded to 70 Kenwood Estates in Griswold for a fully-involved house fire, according to a report.
One person was initially located deceased in the residence with at least one person still not accounted for, according to a report. The second body was located a short time later, state police said.
Glastonbury police then called state police investigators for assistance with a no injury, abandoned car fire at 40 Nanel Drive, the Glastonbury Luxury Apartments, according to a report. State police detectives found that the vehicle is associated with the house fire in Griswold.
