Warrants Served In Connection With Burglaries In Glastonbury
Glastonbury police have arrested a suspect in a series of local break-ins.

GLASTONBURY, CT — An East Hartford man has been arrested in connection with a series of commercial break-ins on Main Street in Glastonbury last fall.
Michael Tongren, 45, was picked up on two warrants, police said.
The first charged him with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree larceny in connection with a September break-in at the local Valvoline oil change shop, according to an arrest report.

A second warrant charged Tongren with three counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief and single counts of second-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree larceny, according to an arrest report.
The second warrant was secured in connection with several other break-ins involving businesses along Main Street that took place in September.

Tongren posted a $50,000 bond for each warrant and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on March 1.
