
GLASTONBURY, CT — A water main ruptured in Glastonbury on Tuesday.
Local officials said they were alerted to the break on Cambridge Drive in the late morning hours and posted it at 11 a.m.
A Metropolitan District crew arrived at the scene shortly after the break, and at 4:24 p.m., town officials said the repair work was complete and the MDC was "slowly" turning the water valves back on.

Crews had to flush the system, and residents were advised that they could see "dirty water" until they system was fully cleared.
