13th Annual POPS Concert @ East Granby High School

The East Granby High School Music Department will present its 13th Annual Pops Concert on Friday, March 14th at 7:00pm in the East Granby High School Gymnasium. The theme of this year's concert is "Rock & Roll", featuring music of the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Elvis and other artists from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. We will also celebrate the EGHS Class of 2014 - the school's 50th graduating class! The East Granby High School Concert Band, Chorus, Jazz Band, and the Crusader Marching Band and Color Guard will perform. The gymnasium will be decorated in a cabaret style, with tables and chairs set up for a casual concert experience. Refreshments will also be available.
This is the largest fundraiser sponsored by the East Granby Music Department and will account for the majority of funds needed to supplement the current music department budget. The East Granby High School Bands, Chorus, and Color Guard make numerous area appearances throughout the school year, including parades, concerts, and competitions and have an ambitious performance schedule for the remaining school year.
