Always Fresh Market Produce - and Children's Book Author Jennifer Huget at Market This Week

The Market is pleased to host noted writer and children's book author Jennifer LaRue Huget this week.  Jennifer will be signing copies of her newest book - The Beginner's Guide to Running Away From Home - at the Market on Wednesday, July 24th.  Jennifer has also written three additional highly popular children's books:  Thanks a LOT, Emily Post!; How to Clean Your Room in 10 Easy Steps; and The Best Birthday Party Ever.  East Granby Public Library will have copies of her books available at the Market that day, or you may bring your own copy to be signed.

Jennifer, who resides in East Granby, has also written articles for Connecticut Magazine, The Washington Post, and other publications.  She is also a regular columnist and blogger on nutrition issues.

We'll have a full market this week, with all our regulars -  Chet's Italian Ice, George Hall Farm, Hastings Farm, Hemlock Knoll, Lost Acres Orchard, Newgate Farms, Oxen Hill Farm, Raw Foods Central, Sweet Pea Farm, and Sweet Wind Farm - plus Briarwoods Farm, Lyric Hill Farm and Woof N Wheels.

East Granby Farmers Market is a farm-oriented venue for the very best in Connecticut grown produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and other handmade and locally harvested items.  The Market is open from 3 - 6PM on Wednesdays, June 19th through September 25th, 2013, and is located at The Center Shops, corner of Routes 20 and 187, in the center of East Granby.  The Market is run entirely by volunteers, and vendor fees directly benefit the East Granby Public Library.
