Choral Evensong at Trinity Church in Tariffville
Celebrate faith through inspiring words and music on March 2, 2014!Evensong is a service of music, words, and prayer taken from the Book of Common Prayer. This service will include hymns, readings from scripture, Anglican chant, and an anthem sung by the choir. Prayers are sung, led by a cantor.
Our guest preacher is the Rev. Tracy Johnson-Russell from St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in New Haven, CT, and the guest organist is Erik Eickhoff, from Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Hartford.
The service lasts less than one hour and is followed by an English Tea reception. Free babysitting is provided.
