Kids in after-school sports can be more at risk for head injuries, including concussions. Concussions are a traumatic brain injury that is caused by a blow to the head or body that jars or shakes the brain inside the skull. Dr. Greg Czarnecki, DO and Christina Martinelli, ATC work with athletes to come up with a comprehensive treatment plan through physical and written evaluations.
This free seminar will provide you with valuable information on signs and symptoms of a concussion, how primary care and physical therapy can help treat concussions, and testing protocols and returning to play.
