Buy Tickets for "Cinderella" Tonight (Tuesday)!

Come to the Werner Centennial Theater on the campus of Westminster School tonight between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to purchase your tickets for SST's "Cinderella"! Buyers can look at ticket charts to see what's open and go into the theater to sit in the seats before purchase.

The box office will also be open from 7 p.m. and 8:30 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Simsbury Summer Theatre is busy rehearsing for its upcoming production of the classic Broadway musical "Cinderella."  SST performers hail from Simsbury, Granby, New Hartford, Winsted, Suffield and Westfield, MA; they rehearse for 6 weeks prior to opening night. “Cinderella,” the 48th annual show for SST, is a sparkling musical comedy featuring everyone's favorite characters from the beloved fairytale. It will delight all audiences, and, since it’s the family-friendly “Enchanted Version,” it’s perfect for children (and adults!). SST's technical staff is busy building a glittering castle and shining pumpkin coach and planning for many magical special effects. There will be singing, dancing, mice turning into horses, wand-waving, beautiful costumes and lots of laughs.  Children are encouraged to wear their own princess outfits, and cast members will be available for free in-character autographs and photos after each show.  The July 31, and August 1, 2, and 3 evening shows have been moved to an earlier 7:00 p.m. start time to accommodate bedtimes for younger children; there is also a 2 p.m. matinee on 8/3. Performances are in the air-conditioned Werner Centennial Theatre on the campus of Westminster School in Simsbury. Tickets can be purchased online at www.simsburysummertheatre.org or by calling 860-951-6860. Tickets will also be on sale in the lobby of Centennial Theater from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. July 18, 22, 23, 24 and 25 as well as 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on July 29 and 30.
