Fall is in the Air! So is Fiddle Music and the Scent of Apples at East Granby Farmers Market

Autumn is nudging summer off center stage in just a few days. The Autumnal Equinox on September 22nd (at 4:44PM EDT, to be precise) will bring us cooler evenings, shorter days, crisp dry air, and the sweet smells that accompany ripening apples and fall foliage.
East Granby Farmers Market will be drawing to a close on September 25th, so you have two weeks to enjoy the fresh farm grown and hand prepared products that have been available to you locally this season.
Anything String, the fiddle and guitar duet of Nola Campbell and Jen Hosack, will be returning to the Market this week to perform their old time traditional fiddle music - always a crowd pleaser!
All our regular vendors will be at the market this week: Chet's Italian Ice, George Hall Farm, Hastings Farm, Hemlock Knoll, Lost Acres Orchard, Newgate Farm, Oxen Hill Farm, Raw Food Central, Sweet Pea Farm, and Sweet Wind Farm. In addition, Briarwoods Farm will be with us for the remainder of the season.
East Granby Farmers Market is a farm-oriented venue for the very best in Connecticut grown produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and other handmade and locally harvested items. The Market is open from 3 - 6PM on Wednesdays through September 25th, and is located at The Center Shops, corner of Routes 20 and 187, in the center of East Granby. The Market is run entirely by volunteers, and vendor fees directly benefit the East Granby Public Library.
