Fresh Meat, Veggies & More for Your Fourth of July at East Granby Farmers Market

East Granby Farmers Market will be open for business, rain or shine, this Wednesday, for your last minute purchases for the holiday and weekend.  Need fresh meats?  See Hemlock Knoll or Hastings Farm, two of our regular vendors.  Cheeses?  Try Hastings Farm or Sweet Pea Cheese.  Fresh baked goods, including cookies and artisan breads?  Lost Acres Orchard and Newgate Farms has 'em.  Salsa Loca will also be with us this week with their yummy salsas (made in East Granby!) and corn chips.  Raw Food Central will have its raw vegan goodies for something tasty and novel.  Take home a pint of Italian Ice from Chet's for a special treat.  There will also be the full array of fresh veggies from George Hall Farm, Newgate Farms, Oxen Hill Farm, Sweet Wind Farm and others.  And this week - for the first time - Woof N Wheels - to treat your favorite pup!

Mark Mears and friends will be entertaining at the Market this Wednesday.  He was very popular at last year's Market - be sure to stop by for a listen.

East Granby Farmers Market is a farm-oriented venue for the very best in Connecticut grown produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and other handmade and locally harvested items.  The Market is open from 3 - 6PM on Wednesdays, June 19th through September 25th, 2013, and is located at The Center Shops, corner of Routes 20 and 187, in the center of East Granby.  Vendor fees directly benefit the East Granby Public Library.
