Good Life Grill Presents: The Winter Wine Dinner

An incredible five-course winter wine dinner...at an extremely discounted price. Happy New Yea!

By The Good Life Grill in Granby, CT

What better way to beat the winter blues than with a winter wine dinner?

We've paired some absolutely incredible wines from Prunotto, a beautiful winery in Piedmont that's part of the Antinori family, with five absolutely incredible courses.

It's a rare opportunity to try these wines.  The Barolo, for example, would cost you upwards of $80 a bottle if you went to a package store to buy it!  We figured we'd instead give everyone a little winter treat and offer five hard to come by wines with our executive chef's special creations.

The first course will be an hors d'oeuvres reception with assorted cheeses and country pates.  It's paired with Prunotto Dolcetto d'Alba.

The second course is our fiocchi pasta,  It's pasta purses stuffed with four cheeses and pair in a sweet and spicy cream sauce.  It's paired with Prunotto "Fiulot" Barbera d'Asti.

Our third course is a duck crepe.  This savory crepe prepared with duck confit is served on a roasted harvest vegetable ratatouille and paired with Prunotto Barbaresco.

The fourth course is a winter cassolet, prepared with braised lamb shank and served with Prunotto Barolo - our personal favorite.

For dessert, we'll be serving a black forest cake with Prunotto "Mompertone" Monferrato.

The dinner starts at 7pm on Saturday, January 25 and seats are extremely limited - by RSVP only.  The cost is only $70 per person plus tax and gratuity.  Priced out individually by course and pairing...this dinner would normally retail for $225 per person...consider it our New Year's Gift to you!
