Goals:
Serving as your selectman and being involved in the community, I have had the opportunity to listen to many of you share your heartfelt views on a variety of issues. Â I take pride in my accessibility to the public and asking the tough questions before important decisions are made by the Board of Selectmen.
My list of goals for Granby’s future include:
- To preserve the character of our community which makes Granby a wonderful place to live and raise our children.
- To support commercial development that complements the character of our town. Â
- To ensure each tax dollar requested is necessary and spent appropriately.
- To ensure our public safety services are properly equipped and trained to meet any situation.
- To purchase open space for passive/active recreation as a breakwater against large residential developments. Â
- To explore ways with neighboring towns for partnering opportunities as a means of reducing duplicated services and program costs.
