Granby Exhibit Tells Town’s 250-Year Story

The exhibit will highlight the people, places and events that helped shape Granby over the past 250 years.

GRANBY, CT — The Salmon Brook Historical Society will open its America 250 exhibit, “Woven Through Time: Granby’s Story Across 250 Years,” on Sunday, June 14.

The exhibit opening is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. at the Salmon Brook Historical Society. According to the society, the exhibit will include artifacts, photographs, textiles, documents and heirlooms connected to the people, places and events that helped shape Granby over the past 250 years.

Admission is $5 for the main campus tour and exhibit. A guided tour of the Aaron Draper Shattuck Gallery is also $5.

Children under 12 and Salmon Brook Historical Society members will be admitted free.

The society said visitors to the exhibit will also receive a free scoop of ice cream.
