• CT man pleads guilty to gun charges after alleged threat to set off explosives on New Year's Eve (courant.com) — A 31-year-old Granby resident has pleaded guilty in federal court to firearm trafficking and related charges after an investigation that began with tips about possible explosives at his Salmon Brook Road home. Agents reported finding numerous guns, conversion devices, ammunition, and explosive materials, and he now faces up to 35 years in prison with sentencing set for late November.
