Granby Memorial High School Fights Hunger


Come join
Granby Memorial High School’s National Honor Society in its fight against
hunger!

Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort created by The
Imagine Render Group in which guests are invited to a simple meal of soup and
bread. This event has become internationally known, and is sponsored by many
organizations in their quest to conquer hunger.

The GMHS
Empty Bowls event will be held on Friday,
Feb. 28, 
at Granby
Memorial Middle School’s Cafeteria
from 5-7 p.m. Local artisans and GMHS Students have been making
hand-crafted bowls to prepare for the event. Homemade soups and bread will be
the highlighted menu items.

Cost is $15 per person for a handcrafted bowl
with soup. For families of three persons or
more, the cost is reduced to $10 per person for soup and a handcrafted
bowl.

The cost for soup without a
