The May 27th Memorial Day Parade was a wonderful event. Hundreds of people watched the marchers as they made their way up School Street across Route 187 to the Town Campus for the Memorial Service. My thanks to the East Granby Lions for sponsoring the parade, to the Air National Guard Honor Guard and to the town groups such as the Fire Department, Ambulance, East Granby Middle and High School Band, Little League and Girl and Boy Scouts and many more who marched. We were thrilled to have East Granby Veterans marching for the second year in a row. My thanks to Tami Zawistowski for being the roving photographer.
