A new business
is coming to Avon! Power 10 Indoor Rowing Center will be having its Grand
Opening and Open House on Saturday, January 18th from 10 am -
2 pm. The Indoor Rowing
Center combines state of the art indoor rowing equipment and technology with
knowledgeable and passionate rowing coaches. Customized programs have been
designed to accommodate all ages, fitness levels and body
types.

Power 10 Indoor Rowing Center features dedicated areas
for rowing ergometers, “row-ga" and the only 4 seat “Swingulator” (crew shell
simulator) in the state. The equipment is interfaced to specialized
visualization and analytical software or optimized training sessions and
"virtual” racing with friends and local
club members or via the Internet with rowers from around the world.
The center has been established to serve
the Farmington Valley community and will be open to all people (ages 12 and up)
who have an interest in learning how to row or improving their fitness,
technique and racing capabilities. More
