We're pretty excited about the excellent peach season this year. There will be plenty at this week's market - fresh peaches, peach pie, and even Chet's Italian Ice will have the peaches & cream flavor they sold out of two weeks ago!
But peaches are just the start. We'll have lots of squash and tomatoes, beans including edamame, cukes, fresh greens, potatoes, corn of course, beets, peppers, carrots, onions, and even some early apples. There will be fresh beef as well as goat milk-fed veal this week, cheese and yogurt, maple products, honey, preserves, artisan breads and cookies, vegan snacks, dog treats, fresh flowers and lots more.
The ever-popular Jack & His Guitar (Jack Yourous) will be also joining us in the entertainment tent.
This week's vendors: Briarwoods Farm, Chet's Italian Ice, George Hall Farm, Hastings Farm, Hemlock Knoll, Lost Acres Orchard, Newgate Farm, Oxen Hill Farm, Raw Food Central, Sweet Pea Farm, Sweet Wind Farm, Woof N Wheels.
Perfect late summer weather is forecast, so we're expecting a good crowd.
