July 15th - 19th, 2013 St. Matthew Lutheran Church will be hosting "Ocean of God's Love" their 2013 Vacation Bible School program. In the Old Testament God helped Moses & the Israelites cross the Red Sea, and Noah build the ark to ride out the storms. In the New Testament Jesus was baptized in the waters of the Jordan, and then invited the disciples into the boat with him on the Sea of Galilee. This summer, we invite you to join us for a fun filled week of learning and faith as we explore the ways that God is still calling us to the water, and using water to bless our lives. Come and join the fun and we wash, rinse, splash, dive, play, pray, learn, and are saturated by the abundant blessings of God in our lives as we explore the stories of: Moses & The Israelites crossing the Red Sea, Noah's Ark, Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman at the well, Jesus calming the storms, & the baptism of Jesus. St. Matthew's Vacation Bible School is open to the entire community, all are invited!!!! This year we are offering online registration at the church's website (www.stmatthewavon.org) or physical forms are available at the church located at 224 Lovely Street (Route 177), Avon (860) 673-3301
