Strawberries are coming!

I noticed a few almost-ripe strawberries yesterday. I should have taken pictures while the sun was out, but I was too busy planting tomatoes (only 75 more to go LOL! And just to update, the beans ARE germinating, and I decided to forgo the drip hose for the edamame right now in favor of putting up a steel concrete reinforcing wire (CRW) trellis for tomatoes).

Anyway, I plan on getting out there and picking the few ripe strawberries tomorrow since the rain looks like it might be over with tonight, I will be sure to take some pictures first ;-) and will update this post on availability next week.

I'm hoping most hold off until East Granby Farmer's Market starts on the 19th (I have a space there this year), but if they're ready earlier I'll let all my blog readers know!

I am so excited, this is my first year growing strawberries organically (or at all) and they are looking really nice!
