With the growth in diagnoses of dyslexia and ADHD, more and more families are concerned about how to keep their child engaged and maintain academic momentum over the summer months. Forman School, an independent school in Litchfield that specializes in working with bright LD students, is now offering a four-week (7/7-8/2) program with boarding and day options for students entering grades 7-11. Small morning classes focus on strategies, skills, math concepts, reading and writing; afternoons offer typical camp activities. Evening workshops focus on building self awareness, leveraging assistive technology, developing advocacy skills, and planning for the upcoming school year.
