Sweet Frog Premium Frozen Yogurt opening in Avon

On
January 10th, Sweet Frog Avon opens their doors.  On Grand Opening Day, Sweet Frog Avon will be
open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.  30% of

the total sales will be donated to Avon High School’s “Project Graduation”.  “The philosophy behind SweetFrog is to be an
active participant in the local community,” said Dan Siracusa, co-owner of the
Avon location. “We really want to give back to the community by being involved
in supporting the schools, sports and the arts with over 50 fundraisers a year."  Fundraisers are normally scheduled for a specific date and three hour time frame, with

SweetFrog donating 10 percent of all sales to the designated charity.

This
3,400 square foot location boasts ample, indoor seating and lounge area, party/game
room and 16 flavors of self-serve frozen yogurt. “We strive to provide a safe,
local hang-out for friends and families to gather and enjoy themselves,”
Siracusa announced. “It's a bright, fun atmosphere with quality frozen yogurt
that only SweetFrog brings.” SweetFrog has over 300 stores nationwide and is
one of the fastest growing frozen yogurt franchises in the nation.The SweetFrog
Avon location is the largest store of its type in the country.

Guests
come in and choose one of three different sized cups, and then have their
choice of 16 flavors of frozen yogurt. 
Several of the flavors are swapped out regularly to showcase SweetFrogs 100 plus flavor menu, but the more popular flavors are always on tap. Also, SweetFrog is allergy conscious.  There
are always non-dairy, gluten-free and no-sugar-added options available.  There are also over 50 toppings to choose
from such as fresh fruit, candies, nuts and granola.  The customers then bring their self-made treat
to the register, where it is weighed and sold by the ounce.

SweetFrog
Avon is located between Pier One Imports and Moe’s Southwest Grill in the Shops
at Dale Corner.  Additional SweetFrog
locations include West Hartford, Manchester, and Glastonbury, with Colchester
and Enfield opening in the spring.
