Police said they found a car nearby occupied by a woman, later identified as Daniela Del Pilar Ortiz Alamos, of Miami, Fla. Police said in her arrest report that she "was assisting in an organized residential burglary." She was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and conspiracy, police said.
The burglars had entered the home by using an unknown tool to pry a side door open, said police, who searched the surrounding area with a helicopter.
Citing an arrest warrant, the Greenwich Time reported that detectives found that Telechea-Droguett and Navarro-Aliaga had taken a cab on the night of the burglary from Greenwich to Queens, N.Y., where they were staying at a Super 8 motel.
Police found items in the car in Greenwich that belonged to the men, and they were linked to other burglaries, the Time reported.
"After a lengthy investigation involving our detective division, the suspects were identified and charged accordingly," Lt. Martin O'Reilly of the Greenwich Police Department told Patch.
