An investigation found that Wehye showed a counterfeit Massachusetts driver's license with his photo in an attempt to impersonate someone else and use their personal identifiable information to cash an approximate $1,400 stolen check, according to an arrest report.

Police said that Wehye tried to run away from officers after he was first detained.

An additional three counterfeit documents, including a fake Texas driver's license, and two credit/debit cards with other names were found in Wehye's possession, police said.

Police said they also found Goddard in possession of a fake Florida driver's license and a Visa debit card.

Wehye was unable to post a $50,000 bond, and Goddard could not post a $25,000 bond.

The men were scheduled to appear in Stamford superior Court this week.
