GREENWICH, CT — Three people were displaced by an apartment fire in Greenwich on Thursday morning, according to Greenwich Fire Department Assistant Chief Charles Lubowicki.

A fire alarm sounded and a 911 call was made reporting smoke at approximately 3:04 a.m. at an apartment on Northfield Street, Lubowicki told Patch, noting the building features a vacant business on the ground floor with two apartments above.

Crews arrived and declared a working fire, which was placed under control about two hours later, Lubowicki said.
