4 Men Charged In Connection With Bank Fraud Scheme: Greenwich Police
Police said four men were arrested in Greenwich on the afternoon of June 9.

GREENWICH, CT — Four men were arrested on June 9 and charged after police said they tried to fraudulently open a business account at a bank in Greenwich.
William Guerrero, 19, and Keon Gulley, 30, both of the Bronx, N.Y.; and Tyreef Rivera, 28, of Paterson, N.J., face a slew of conspiracy to commit larceny, criminal impersonation and forgery charges, according to their arrest reports.
Guerrero was additionally charged with interfering with an officer because he provided a false age, police said.

Aaron Moya, 36, of Brooklyn, N.Y., faces the same conspiracy charges, along with third-degree identity theft; criminal impersonation; second-degree forgery; and third-degree forgery, his arrest report said.
Police said on June 9 around 12:15 p.m., Greenwich plainclothes officers noticed "suspicious activity" at a bank within the central Greenwich business district, according to an arrest report that had a listed incident address of Pickwick Plaza.

An investigation found that the four men conspired together, and Moya presented fraudulent documents which detailed someone else's name in an attempt to open up a business account at the bank, police said.
During a search of Rivera's car, police said they found a check in the amount of $236,250 payable to the business account the men were trying to open.
Polic said they also found counterfeit debit and credit cards.
Guerrero, Gulley and Rivera were unable to post bonds of $15,000, their arrest reports state. Moya was unable to post a $30,000 bond.
All four men are scheduled to appear in court on June 23.
