CT Weather: 4th of July Forecast Improves; Storms To Break Heat
An updated look at the 4th of July weather and the weather service has already issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for later in the week.

Some better news for our 4th of July weather today in Connecticut as most areas won't see any rain or thunderstorms, and we'll be dry for fireworks displays across the state. There is a chance for a thunderstorm or two this afternoon and temps will again feel like 100 degrees away from the coast but we should also see the sun too as it breaks through the clouds occasionally.
Heat advisories still remain in effect for much of the state as the humidity is already building this morning. Several state parks are at capacity as people look to beat the heat. Thursday's weather also looks hot and humid but if you're wondering when this heatwave may finally break, well the answer is on Friday but this means we are expecting a good chance of severe weather to roll through, which will reduce temps this weekend.
The National Weather Service has already issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Friday in anticipation of thunderstorms that could produce downpours. It's never a dull moment for us in Connecticut as it pertains to the weather.

Hot and humid yet again with low/mid 90s inland (feeling like near 100) and 80s at the CT beaches. Could be a shower or thunderstorm in spots, but much of us won't have rainfall today. Looking dry (but humid) for fireworks this evening! pic.twitter.com/iIMQmpx87z

More of the same. Hot. Humid. Isolated shower/storm. 2 more days in the 90s. Cooler, less humid in time for this weekend. A little overboard on this Independence day graphic? Nah. pic.twitter.com/uT5LHZTzX0
