Connecticut Weather: 'Accumulating Snow' Is Back In The Forecast
Well this is a shocker. After an extended warmup, a snowstorm has surfaced and is set to impact us. Here are the new details on the storm.

The roller coaster ride that is weather in New England continues. High temps could approach 60 degrees on Thursday and then Connecticut is facing the chance of a snowstorm late Saturday into Sunday. This snowstorm is expected, as of now, to produce "accumulating snow." No estimates have been released as this snowstorm seemingly came out of nowhere as we've been enjoying milder temperatures recently, which will continue for the next few days.
NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan said late Tuesday that new computer models show a "snowstorm for Saturday night." He said one model shows a "pretty solid snowstorm across southern New England Saturday night."
"There is certainly the potential for a few inches," Hanrahan said.

Fox 61's Rachel Frank said, "Mild this week, mild next week. But in between there is a chance for accumulating SNOW Saturday night into Sunday morning. Other than saying "chance" that's all I got this early in the game. Still a big range of possibilities."
"Next week's warm-up could be even more impressive than this one. One of our computer models is consistently showing 70s around here next Thursday!," Frank said.

As for the weather before Saturday night's potential snowstorm, WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons said, "Improving weather today with Sun developing & 45-50 for the afternoon! A shower tomorrow morning. Still watching for some snow Saturday Night-Sunday Morning."
The National Weather Service says there is still great uncertainty about what this storm will bring to Connecticut and that will clear up once we get closer to the weekend.
