Bob and Paula Burton Continue Tradition of Supporting Innovative Research Education and Outreach Programs

As he presented this year’s check to BCA President Debbie Black and Executive Director Yonni Wattenmaker, Mr. Burton said, “My family is pleased to support the BCA and the organization’s important efforts to control and eventually eradicate breast cancer.  This disease affects so many in our workplace and our community, and we are honored to contribute to advances in breast cancer education and treatment.  We hope others will be inspired to join us in this quest.”

The Burtons' generous donation, along with other funds raised by the BCA, will fund innovative breast cancer research at the nation's leading cancer institutions.  The funds also help provide free mammograms for underserved women in Southern Connecticut and Westchester County.
