Anthony J. Sessa, 61; Plumbing Company Owner, Church Trustee
A memorial Mass for the Greenwich resident will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 3.

Anthony J. Sessa, 61, of Greenwich, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015.
He was born in Stamford on June 21, 1953 to the late Tony and Nicoletta Barone Sessa.

Anthony was the owner of T. Sessa & Son Plumbing and Heating for thirty five years and taught plumbing at J.M. Wright Tech School in Stamford. He was a graduate of Rippowam High School, Class of 1971. He was an avid skier and a diehard Giants football fan. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Cos Cob, a Trustee at St. Mary’s RC Church of Greenwich for eighteen years and coached the girls softball team in Greenwich.
He is survived by his loving wife Marianne Furnaros Sessa of Greenwich; his loving daughter Kimberly Joy Sessa of Greenwich and her fiancé Chris Smalley of Pound Ridge, NY; his sister Donna Carter and her husband Jimmy of MA; his sister-in-law Karen Furnaros and his father-in-law Donald Furnaros of Stamford, as well as a niece and nephew and some very, very close friends.

Besides his parents, Anthony was predeceased by his mother-in-law Frances Furnaros.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s RC Church, 178 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich.
There are no calling hours and Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Anthony’s memory to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005.
