In 1951 he came to Windsor ON Canada where he met the love of his life “Jo”, a Greenwich resident. Married for 59 years, they built a life together in Chickahominy then Riverside. Not only a master at his craft and jack-of-all-trades, he also loved to cook for others and garden. Many enjoyed the fruits of his labor, and it made him happy to share. He didn’t express himself with many words, it was his kind actions that spoke volumes.

Antonio is survived by his three children, David Fantin (Robin), Michael Fantin, and Nancy Fantin, as well as his grandchildren, Garrett and Ariana Fantin. Also survived by his siblings, Ada, Aldo, Ida, Bruno, and Remigio; predeceased by Sergio, and Lidia earlier this year.

To honor both Antonio and Josephine Fantin, family and friends will gather on Wednesday from 4-8pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave, Greenwich. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 10am at St Roch’s Church, followed by entombment at St Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Greenwich Hospital or St. Roch’s would be appreciated.
