GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department on Monday released the town crime statistics for April 2025.

"We remain committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community," police said in a Facebook post. "We appreciate your cooperation and support in enhancing public safety. Together, we can work towards reducing these incidents and ensuring our neighborhoods remain secure. If you notice any suspicious activity, please report it to the Greenwich Police Department immediately."

The most common citation issued by police in April was for "traveling too Fast," the police department said. Larceny was the top reported crime.

Additionally, officers successfully recovered six of eight reported stolen vehicles.

  • Total calls for service: 3,624
  • Motor vehicle stops: 1,161
  • Larceny from motor vehicle: four
  • Burglary: eight
  • Motor vehicle theft: eight
  • DUI: eight
  • Domestic violence incidents: 13
  • Motor vehicle collisions: 159
  • Medical calls: 347

Arrest/infraction data

  • Juvenile arrests: two
  • Adult arrests: 45
  • Misdemeanor summonses issued: 14
  • Motor vehicle infractions: 567
  • Motor vehicle warnings: 704
