Greenwich Library's 2026 Opening Night Celebration (westfaironline.com) — Greenwich residents can reserve tickets now for the Library's 2026 Opening Night Celebration on October 2, featuring a performance by renowned modern dance company Ailey II in the Berkley Theater. The annual "friendraiser" supports free performing arts programming at Greenwich Library and its branches, with tickets and sponsorships ranging from $250 to $10,000.
   

4. Greenwich Officials Celebrate Groundbreaking on Benedict Court (greenwichfreepress.com) — A 120‑unit apartment building called Benedict Court is now underway just off Greenwich Avenue, bringing 40% below‑market units aimed at local workers and middle‑income residents. Developed with the Town of Greenwich and the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, the six‑story project at 19 Benedict Place is slated for 2028 completion and will expand housing options while keeping parking underground.
   

5. No. 2 Greenwich football pulls away from No. 6 New Britain in Top 10 showdown (greenwichtime.com) — Greenwich High's second‑ranked football team stayed on track for another Class LL title run with a 35‑7 road win over No. 6 New Britain. Senior captain Justin Carroll scored twice and anchored the defense as the Cardinals pulled away with 28 unanswered points, reinforcing that the championship road may still run through Greenwich.
