Just like an animal, they can sense weakness in another animal, bullies sense weakness as well.  Confident kids rarely get picked on, it’s simple.  If you walk and act strong, nobody challenges that.  If you walk weak and present yourself in that manner then a you will surely get picked on.

 There is two ways we build self confidence in our students, and that is to teach self discipline and SELF DEFENSE.  When a person accomplishes goals with self discipline the person feels self worth and half confident, because you truly can’t be confident unless you feel safe in any situation.  That’s where my Mixed Martial Arts self defense program comes into play.  I teach my students how to use their hands and feet with kickboxing and of course if my students are grabbed, choked or thrown to the ground they will be able to release from those attacks despite the size, strength and gender of the bully.

When your son/daughter truly feels they can defend themselves, then they won’t have to worry about bullies.  Besides not getting picked on they won’t have to worry about raising their hand to ask a question in school, or try out for a sports team.  Your child will never be the outcast, but the kid that everyone likes and gets along with.  It all starts with the training here at the Stamford Tiger Schulmann’s.  Come see for yourself, come take a class on me!
