With 30 public tennis courts, plus many in-town private and club courts, Greenwich is a racquet sport community. A shop devoted to racquet sports is destined for success.

Gut Reaction opened recently on Lewis Street. The owner, Chris Fitzgerald, opened his first shop in Darien. The small shop in Greenwich is filled with racquets, shoes and clothing for tennis, squash and paddle. The customer ahead of us was picking up his six re-strung racquets for his next tournament. We found a racquet and oversized beginners balls for 2 year old, Theodore. Besides 24 hour re-stringing, you can demo a racquet before buying it. Monica Collins, searching everywhere for paddle balls, found them here!
