Owner Corey Fine posted about the incident on Instagram.

"Owning a small business comes with plenty of curveballs… but I definitely didn’t have 'car through the storefront' on my year-one bingo card. So yes, welcome to Greenwich’s first drive-thru liquor store," Fine posted. "Most importantly, no one was hurt and for that I’m incredibly grateful. I’m focused on reopening as quickly as possible and coming back stronger than ever. Thank you for supporting a local business during an unexpected moment. It truly means everything."

Fine pledged to reopen as quickly as possible and come back "stronger than ever."

In the meantime, Fine said he's personally handling orders to make sure customers continue to have access to wine, spirits and beer.

Continental Fine Wine & Spirits came under Fine's ownership last summer. The shop has been in business since 1963.
