Caroline Louise Orrico Genise, 93; Long-Time Cos Cob Resident

Caroline Louise Orrico Genise, longtime resident of Cos Cob, passed away in Greenwich Hospital May 25, 2015 at the age of 93.
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she enjoyed a life filled with family, travel, golf and the Yankees. Those who loved her will never forget “Sweet Caroline”.

She was predeceased by her husband James Lawrence Genise Jr., parents Maria Rosaria Cantavero and Pietro Orrico and Siblings Patsy Orrico (Margaret Orrico), Peter Orrico Jr. (Jenny Orrico) , Rosaria (Sally) Orrico Marotta (Anthony Marotta).
She is survived by her children, Robert James Genise (Penelope Worth Genise) of Bellevue, WA; Eloise Genise Cowles (Donald Robert Cowles) of Prescott, AZ; and Patricia Genise Clark (Sean Ermark) of Cos Cob. She is remembered with love by her grandchildren Pamela Robyn Elizabeth Genise, Hilary Lauren Faith Genise Freund (Hank Freund), Adrienne Ashley Worth Genise, Victoria Katherine Worth Genise Arthur (Ben Ryan Arthur), Danielle Louise Clark (Paolo Lamanna), and Matthew James Clark, great-grandaughter Hannah Tedison Freund and sister Delores M. Orrico Siecienski (John Siecienski).

Viewing will be held at Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road #3, Greenwich, CT on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agnes Church, 247 Stanwich Road, Greenwich, CT on Saturday May 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM, followed by the Rite of Committal at St. Mary’s Cemetery on 399 North Street, Greenwich, CT.
In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Department of Palliative Care, c/o Greenwich Hospital, Development Office, 5 Perryridge Road, Greenwich, CT 06830.
