David Scott Kovach: Greenwich Resident Who Loved the Outdoors
The former employee of J.P.Harris Well Contracting passed away Sept. 21 at age 54.

David Scott Kovach, 54, of Greenwich, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015.
He was born to the late Evelyn (McGinty) and John Kovach on October 23, 1960 in Port Chester, NY.

He graduated from Greenwich High School and worked at J.P.Harris Well Contracting for many years until being diagnosed with MS. He was loved by his family, friends and his beloved dog, Thor.
David loved the outdoors and was an avid scuba diver, having dived many wrecks including the Andrea Doria, as well as instructing others in diving. He also was an accomplished Martial Artist winning many competitions. Dave also loved boating, fishing and bow hunting.

David is survived by his siblings, John, Linda, Richard and Steven Kovach. He loved and cherished his 3 nieces and 2 nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Stamford Hospital and the ICU Unit for their compassion and caring for David.
Viewing will be at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road #3, Greenwich, on Tuesday evening, September 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
