Diane Montefuscoli, 73; Lifelong Greenwich Resident; Former Hair Salon Owner

Diane Montefuscoli, age 73, died peacefully on July 30, 2015 at her home in Greenwich, Connecticut where she was surrounded by her family.

Diane was born October 20, 1941, the daughter of Daniel and Angelina Russo.

A lifelong resident of Greenwich. She graduated from Greenwich High School and went on to earn her beautician license. Diane opened Golden Touch Salon which she owned and ran for over 20 years.

She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother to her husband Peter of 39 years and her son John. Diane was blessed with a daughter in-law, Lucy and a granddaughter, Sofia born on Valentine’s Day 2014. She treasured being with family, you could always count on her to be the first to arrive at family gatherings. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, sewing, completing crossword puzzles and attending tag sales.

Diane will always be remembered for her strong-willed personality and unconditional love for her family and friends.

Diane was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Angelina Russo.

Diane leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving and devoted husband Peter Montefuscoli; her loving son John and wife, Lucy Montefuscoli, and her granddaughter Sofia Montefuscoli. She is also survived by her sister Elaine Colandro and her brother in-law Frank Colandro; brother and sister in-law Tony and Felicita Montefuscoli; nieces and nephews and a number of extended relatives and close friends.

Family and friends may call at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road #3, Greenwich, on Sunday, August 2, from 4-8-PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Parish, 95 Henry Street, Greenwich. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
