Do You Recognize This Man? Greenwich Police Hope You Do

Police release photos of the suspect in Monday's attempted Cos Cob bank robbery.

Greenwich Police have released photos of the man they say tried to rob the Cos Cob branch of Chase Bank on Monday afternoon.

The man is described as a “white male of average height and build, with a medium complexion. ... wearing a Yankees cap, sunglasses, a dark hoodie sweatshirt, and blue jeans.”

The man entered the bank at 371 Post Rd. shortly after 3 p.m. March 9 and handed a teller a note demanding money. He left empty-handed when the teller apparently took long to hand over any money, police said.
