GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department on Thursday announced the arrests of four people in connection with recent drug sales in town.

Police said in a news release they developed information that Robin Repaci, 61, of Greenwich, and Luis Pena, 54, of the Bronx, N.Y., were actively selling fentanyl and crack cocaine to people in Greenwich.

On Aug. 30 at 5 a.m., officers set up surveillance on Repaci's Quarry Knoll residence, and observed a man, later identified as a 43-year-old resident of Port Chester, N.Y., enter the home and leave after a brief period of time, police said.

Officers stopped the man and found him in possession of four bags of suspected fentanyl, police said. The man told officers he had just purchased the drugs.

The man was issued a misdemeanor summons for one count of possession of a controlled substance. He's scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 8.

At approximately 5:47 a.m., officers conducted a search warrant on Repaci's home and seized about 6.1 ounces of cocaine, 4.7 ounces of fentanyl, 18.5 ounces of a cutting agent, and prescription pills, police said.

According to police, Repaci was arrested and charged with use of drug paraphernalia; sale of narcotics substance; possession of drug paraphernalia in a drug factory setting; seven counts of possession with intent to sell narcotics, second offense; and seven counts of possession of a controlled substance, third offense.

Pena, who is a convicted felon with a history of selling narcotics, police said, faces the same charges as Repaci.

Repaci was released on a written promise to appear with a court date of Sept. 8, police noted. Pena could not post a $100,000 bond and was held at GPD headquarters pending his arraignment Thursday at Stamford Superior Court.

Police said Pena also had an active extraditable felony arrest warrant issued by the New York City Police Department.

Additionally, a 46-year-old Greenwich woman, who was inside the residence to purchase drugs at the time the search warrant was executed, according to police, was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine and two hypodermic needles used to inject fentanyl.

She was issued a misdemeanor summons for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. She has a scheduled court date of Sept. 8.
