Former Connecticut News Reporter Returns In A New Role
He's joining WTNH on Monday, Oct. 30.

After a couple of years in the Washington DC news market, former NBC Connecticut reporter George Colli is coming back to Connecticut, writes The Laurel.
This time, the former member of WVIT's Troubleshooters team will bring his talents to WTNH Channel 8, the latest move by WTNH's general manager Rich Graziano to bring popular correspondents to the station and/or back to Connecticut.
Colli left NBC Connecticut in December 2015 for a job with Cox Media Group as its Washington correspondent. The three years prior to that, he held the job at NBC Connecticut, and he also worked for WTIC in Connecticut for two and a half years from 2010 to 2012, according to his LinkedIn page.

Graziano has been aggressively signing talent in recent months, bringing in Sarah Cody from Fox61, hiring Geoff Fox for a summer stint, and adding Meteorologist Joe "Storm" Fuery also formerly of Fox61.
Colli will be WTNH's lead investigative reporter and begins on Oct. 30, according to the publication.
