Ailes and Fox News didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from multiple media sources.
She met with Ailes to discuss discriminatory treatment and he stated, "I think you and I should have had a sexual relationship a long time ago and then you'd be good and better ad I'd be good and better," according to the suit.

Carlson also claims that Carlson was subjected to retaliatory and discriminatory treatment which culminated with her contract not being renewed.
Carlson worked at CBS News for five years prior to joining Fox News in 2005. She was a co-host of Fox & Friends morning show for more than seven years.
In September 2009 Carlson complained to her supervisor that co-host Steve Doocy created a hostile work environment in a sexist and condescending way.
She claims Ailes retaliated by assigning less hard-hitting political interviews and reducing her compensation to a level disproportionate to that of similarly-situated male employees.
