Former Greenwich Police Chief Raymond E. Grant, Jr. Dies
A wake is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home in Stamford

GREENWICH, CT — Former Greenwich Police Chief Raymond E. Grant, Jr., who served the department for more than 26 years, recently passed away at the age of 85, the department announced in a Facebook post.
Born and schooled in Stamford, Grant was chief from February 1977 to his retirement in 1982.
He also served on a host of local and area boards and commissions, and also was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

A wake is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home in Stamford, and services will be held at 10 a.m. on May 5, at Stamford's St. Clement’s of Rome Church.
