GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Public Schools is offering free Narcan training to families following many successful staff training sessions.

Narcan (naloxone) is a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. The comprehensive training covers identification of a suspected overdose to administration of Narcan and subsequent response. The training also provides education surrounding substance use and its effect on our community. Each participant will be sent home with their own Narcan kit.

There are two scheduled dates, two sessions per day, at Central Middle School, with more to be added throughout the year.
