Fugitive from Justice Suspect Caught in Old Greenwich
Greenwich Police investigating a report of possible fraudulent banking, arrest a man wanted by police in Texas.

A man is being held without bond after Greenwich Police found he was named in a warrant as a fugitive from justice.
It all happened about 11:30 a.m. Aug. 6 when employees at the Bank of America at 206 Sound Beach Ave. in Old Greenwich summoned police believing a man was involved in “possible fraudulent bank activity,” according to a Greenwich Police report.
According to the report, police found that Jkwon D. Roney, 23, of Brooklyn, NY, was named in felony arrest warrant issued by the Tarrant County Sheriff Department in Fort Worth, TX. The report did not indicate what charge was contained in the arrest warrant that included an order that Roney be held and no bond could be set.

Roney is scheduled to appear Aug. 13 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
