Limited Reopening of Parks, Marinas

As announced on Friday, the town began the "limited reopening" of various Greenwich parks, as well as the town's four marinas, this week.

Cos Cob Park reopened Monday and will be open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with monitors limiting access to ensure social distancing, town officials said. At this time, no restrooms will be open at any facility.

Visitors to parks and the marinas must wear masks at all times and refrain from congregating, which includes picnicking and playing sports, officials said. If social distancing protocols are not followed, access to those facilities will be reduced or closed, according to officials.

As a reminder, in order to access Greenwich Point and Byram Park, visitors must have a 2019 or a 2020 Greenwich park pass, a state-issued ID or a driver's license that shows a Greenwich address, officials said. Marina access will be limited to those with a 2019 or 2020 marina facility use permit.

The last entry to all parks and marinas will be an hour before the posted closing time, according to officials.
