Family in government: No
The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Appropriate balance between taxes and municipal programs and services; Maintenance and updating of Schools facilities; Review and resolution of special education; Maintenance of Town infrastructure; Anticipation of storm impact and climate change; Sensible financial planning.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
Rejection of the blind obsession with just low taxes, and its resulting failure to plan long term, failure to properly maintain facilities, and failure to establish an appropriate level of Town programs and services.
Accomplishments:
Fourteen year incumbent on the BET. Previously: PTA president twice, Library trustee, United Way board twice, president of the Riverside Association, chair of the Cos Cob Power Plant Committee, GEMS first responder, and member of the RTM.
