Greenwich PD Warns Residents Of Pending Storm
The storm expected tonight and Tuesday will be the third significant weather event in the state in a little over a week.

GREENWICH, CT — With a third significant weather event scheduled to hit the state tonight and Tuesday, the Greenwich Police Department is warning residents to be prepared for several inches of snow, high winds and possible power outages.
"A third winter storm warning has been issued for the area. 4 to 6 inches of new snow is expected with a wintery mix starting tonight and lasting throughout the day Tuesday," wrote police in a statement. "Residents are asked to prepare for this storm in the same way as the last two, and listen to weather forecasts."
Outages from the March 2 and March 7 storms lasted for days for some residents in Fairfield County and other parts of Connecticut, even as Eversource crews worked around the clock to restore power.
